Combining The Artistic Crafts of Photography and Brush-Stroke Painting
Capturing Life...Creating Art...Celebrating Those We Love

Storybook Paintings
Who doesn't love a happy, fun story? This style of painting is storytelling at it's finest. By carefully planning and creating a concept, we incorporate elements into these paintings helping to tell the story of the subject. It can be things they love and enjoy or things that speak of who they are and what they do. We will shoot a session with every element in mind including accurate lighting and placement, appropriate props and clothing, and work to get every expression to convey the feeling desired in the painting. Then each of these paintings are given an appropriate name. Sometimes the artist chooses the name and at other times the client gives input to the name they desire.

Fine Art Curated Paintings
These beautiful paintings not only speak of who the person is portrayed within the painting, but to the life and legacy that follows. Each artist rendering is carefully and meticulously curated to bring out the features and personalities of each subject. They can range from traditional bust-style portraits with emphasis on the person from the waist up. Or, they can be full-bodied landscape or portrait oriented paintings including environmental elements. Paintings are then archivally framed so as to preserve the quality and lasting beauty for many generations to come.
Preserving Your Memories...Painting Your Legacy

Fine Art Curated Paintings For Pets
Capturing sweet expressions and personality through stunning portraits of pets is one of our very favorite things. We will plan a special in studio session and take those beautiful images and use as inspiration for a painting and handcraft a timeless piece of art. These beautiful treasures will bring fond memories of your furry or feathered family members as they are lovingly passed from one generation to the next. Each painting will be archivally framed creating a timeless and esteemed piece of family history.

Fine Art Cameo Style Paintings
This soft, delicate style of painting reminded Vickie of a beautiful cameo piece of jewelry. So what else would she call them, except the "cameo style?" These personal paintings are unique because they can have a more formal feel to them or they can have an intimate, cozy feel, depending upon subject matter and color palette. Fine Art Aquarelle Rag paper is the medium of choice for printing as it has a pleasing, luxurious sense that enhances the softer tones of color choices. Because of the delicate nature of the Fine Art paper, each painting is archivally matted and/or framed for generational preservation.
Masterfully Designed. Archival Standards. Enduring Beauty.

Fine Art Restoration
There are so many photos stored away in boxes, and sadly many are thrown away simply because they aren't what they used to be. But new life can be brought to them! Through digital restoration and hand-painting, old photos can once again become family treasures. Many times they just need repairing and mending. Other times they need a complete regeneration. They can then be archivally printed and framed to preserve their existence for future generations to come.

Bereavement And Memorial Paintings
There are times in life when a simple photograph just won't do. Something a bit more spectacular needs to represent someone near and dear to us. Vickie can take your snapshots and sometimes even a cell phone photo and turn it into a beautiful remembrance portrait of your loved one. We can also use references from past photo sessions in our Studio. Memorial portraits can also be done for your beloved pets as well. It's possible for some paintings to have a quick turn-around time for display at services and life celebrations.
Honoring Memories. Fulfilling Visions. Curating an Heirloom.

Limited Edition Paintings
Within this gallery are paintings Vickie has done, which are available for purchase as a limited edition painting. Most are printed on fine art paper, however, they can be printed on canvas as well. Many depict her love of flowers through still life paintings and her enchantment with birds and stunning landscapes. Each painting will be archivally preserved through framing and matting/framing, depending on print medium and will have no more than 15 prints (including all sizes) of each painting before it is retired.
